Magical Moments…Meditation and Turkish Breakfast. I love observing what happens when people breathe, relax, and give themselves permission to simply be. These ladies connected and exchanged numbers and will support each other in different ways. I am so happy to be a part of this magic. Thank you my incredible mom for cooking and supporting me and my work.
Grateful for a fabulous morning with these lovely ladies. After a peaceful meditation, they started creating their 2020 vision. We had wonderful conversations about life! I love bringing people together and creating community.
This morning when I asked the staff of Bright Star Schools if I could take their picture they were really excited and posed. It was a wonderful meditation and mindfulness session about ways to deal with stress and how to calm the nervous system. Grateful to be in the company of these people.
Mindfulness at Work! Workplace wellness is important and helps employees to be more productive at work. Yesterday I led a Mindful Conversation session. I discussed 3 components to a Mindful Conversation:
1. Mindful Listening
2. Looping- Closing the loop of communication
3. Dipping- checking in with ourselves-feelings, chatter that comes up, acknowledge and let go when aware
Employees broke up into pairs and practiced a mindful conversation followed by a guided meditation.

Today I had a session with Hire Options Inc. a wonderful company that takes care of their employees. Our session on compassion and self-compassion was fantastic. I am grateful for this group and the opportunity I had to work with them!
I LOVE teaching meditation and mindfulness and bringing community together. These pictures are from the session on February 8th. We began with a breath and body awareness meditation and then created Vision Boards for 2019.
How did you begin your day today? Often times we wake up and pick up our devices, look at our “to do” list, worry about what is about to happen in the near future and how much we can accomplish and control. Did you know that you can make a choice to begin your day differently so that you can be kind to yourself and your nervous system and begin your day in a more calm and positive manner? What I have found is that when I begin my day with meditation or a walk in nature, I have more energy, focus, enthusiasm and my day flows more smoothly. The pictures below are from this morning when I walked with my dog, Lolie, in Temescal Canyon at 8am.
